We spent the entire day at the hotel, resting and doing odds and ends and trying to get over jetlag. We had a late breakfast so skipped lunch.
After breakfast we headed down to the Infinity pool and swam a bit...
and then found some chairs in the shade at the beach. We spent some time in the water and then lounged on the lounge chairs for a while before heading back to the room for showers.
Paul spent time
working on upcoming travel issues and Mary caught up with all of the Cuba
photos and blog…glad to have that project done.
We walked to
the adjacent Grand Mirage property (the Family Paradise hotel themed for
families with smaller children) for dinner at the Chopstick Chinese
restaurant. Then it was back to the
hotel room for a few more projects before heading to bed at a reasonable
hour.
