We were able to stay on board until mid-afternoon and then picked up our luggage and met the bus for the airport. Random shots on the drive.
From there we walked over to the airport hotel where we had a room for the night. The walk was underground. We saw these sleeping pods on the way. Those with a layover can rent them to have a place to sleep. Very basic but does the job.
It was a very large hotel with a huge lobby and Chinese New Year’s decorations. We had dinner at the very large buffet. Tomorrow we fly to Luang Prabang in Laos to start our trip there.
